It's Primary Election Day Here...

I really don't normally "do" politics. I confess that I TRY and listen to the candidates, and I NEVER vote for anyone that I haven't heard about. It bugs me that people might vote because they saw someone's sign on the side of a road. I'm just not able to throw myself 100% behind any one candidate. This makes it VERY hard for me to decide.

Yesterday, on the radio, the talk show host (I mentioned below) said it's like you want to take a bit of each one and stir it together into one. Yeah, me too!

We are also voting on a very important amendment here in Florida. I KNOW what I'm doing about that.

In a few minutes I'll go to the polls. I've narrowed myself down to two candidates. I have prayed. I have read. Now, I have to hit the final button.

Even though I'm torn, I am eternally grateful that I live in a country where I get to help decide what happens. It's important to me. At least tomorrow I'll know that I did do my part torn or not. And soon, it will all be narrowed further for me to consider the "big election". I'm pretty sure I'll still be torn.

Voting is hard. But it is good to do it!

Yea... I'm having a rough time this time too. Usually I'm SO decided on who I want, and this time, though I do know at this point who I'm going to vote for... I'm not REALLY happy with either of my choices. It's like, even if my person WINS, I'm still not going to be really "satisfied". I don't like that...

I think a lot of us are in the same boat, Susan. Oklahoma is lumped in with the large group voting on February 5th. Florida's results will narrow it down I'm sure. I REALLY like Huskabee but don't know if he has a chance. Will see what he does today. My second choice is McCain.

I too am so grateful I live in a country that affords me the opportunity to voice my opinion on who should be our leader.

Have I told you hubby's family is in Jacksonville, Amalia Island and Yulee?

We have a large decision to make this year. I think the biggest one ever!! We go to the poles on Feb 5th. I generally do not vote in these but I am this time.

My husband has always been a big political junkie, and there have been years when I watched a lot of it on TV with him, and kinda' got into it...or was very for one of the candidates.
Not so, this year! There are several I am very much against...but it's harder this time to find one I am very much for!
Glad to know I'm not alone! ;)

Yay for voting!!! :)

This is the first time I've ever really "gotten into" politics. I had an interesting experience trying to vote yesterday- I posted about it- it's kinda funny- but it's SO IMPORTANT for us all to exercise our right to vote.
