My goal today was to get the Christmas decorations out of the attic and get the outside lights up. DSs 1, 3, and 4 and DH helped with this mission and the outside was done in two hours. I'm thinking that's a record for this house! Since we are waiting on our wood floors, I cannot decorate in the main areas. I decided, though, that I COULD get my village done. It sits in my entryway.

DS 4 and I shopped for the mission at church. We are setting up a holiday shop for Grandparents raising Grandchildren and some Single Mothers in need. There are over 20 kids between them of all age ranges. I had fun shopping for them.
All in all it's been a pretty productive day.

YAY YOU! Well... now we're even! I don't have ANY outside stuff up -- or my tree. I think everything else is pretty much done...
Silly me! I meant to say that both are LOVELY too! I don't have a village... I keep debating it ... but I'm not sure where in the world I would PUT it... I love them though!
Pretty! Pretty!
It's very beautiful, but even more beautiful is the shop for Grands raising grands. That is a wonderful idea. We don't have anything like that around here. Hmmmm.
I wish we could drive by your house! My kids would LOVE your lights!

I love the decorations!! What a wonderful job.
The front of your house looks great. Wow, 2 hours. I am impressed.
My kids got roped into decorating (cleaning out gutters and painting the roof) while they were here.
Love your village.

Love the village...so cozy and comforting. We went to a Christmas party this weekend and I swear the lady had 250 village pieces all over her house. She said it took 4 days to put them up. Whew!
