Friday's Feast

Appetizer: What was your first “real” job?

I worked at Hardee's fast food restaurant for a few months. I really consider my FIRST real job the one I had at Busch Gardens. I was a ride operator. I ran the roller coasters, spinner rides, and such. Then I worked on the old boat ride for over a year. I got to give guided tours of the animals and things to see on this ride. It was great fun.

Soup: Where would you go if you wanted to spark your creativity?

The craft store or the scrapbook store. It usually sparks me big time.

Salad: Complete this sentence: I am embarrassed when…

I am embarrassed when I cannot do what the trainer asks me to do at the gym.

Main Course: What values did your parents instill in you?

Faith, Kindness (I hope), Compassion, and Love for Family

Dessert: Name 3 fads from your teenage years.

Since I was a teenager over two decades, the 70's and the 80's, I had to look this up.
1. Most definitely the TransAm was a "fad" at that time. People LOVED these cars particularly after one of my favorite teenage movies, "Smokey and the Bandit" starring Burt Reynolds.

2. SHOES - We went from Earth Shoes

to Penny Loafers
and don't forget, JELLY SHOES!

3. And in my later teens, and early 20's THE BOOMBOX became popular. Who would have ever DREAMED we'd be able to carry our music in a credit card size device? And we wonder just why we have back and neck problems today!?!
