Friday Feast 4/130

Appetizer - Have you been sick yet this winter? If so, what did you come down with?

I haven't been down-for-days sick, but I did catch a cold in New York City in December. Right now, I can feel a sore throat and nasal congestion coming on. I'm praying it goes away...and I'm pumping the vitamins!!

Soup - What colors dominate your closet?

I'd have to say it's blues, khakis, reds and browns. In the summer, it changes though to more pinks, greens, and tans.

Salad - How would you describe your personal "comfort zone"?

I definitely have personal space. I can't stand it when someone stands too close to me. As far as going out and trying things....I'll try almost anything once....notice I said "almost". You've got to have an "out" when you need it.

Main Course - On which reality show would you really like to be a contestant?

Oh my goodness...I LOVE the family version of Amazing Race. I think that would be so fun.

Dessert - Which holiday would you consider to be your favorite?

Christmas...hands down!!

Since I don't watch TV, I really couldn't select anything for the main course -- but if I HAD to select something, I think it would be Amazing Race --- from what I've heard about that one, it's not quite AS bad about backstabbing and what-not --- and at least you get the adventure - whether you win or not! The adventure would probably make it worth it! (but they wouldn't want ME on the show - because I just WON'T get petty about things!)

Susan, I do so hope that you are not getting sick. My hubby caught a cold or it caught him about 10 days ago and he cannot get it to go away. It has about driven him nuts and me too..Take care and have a great weekend. We are off to try out our hand at camping before our LONNNGGG trip to Arizona to pick up my parents in March...this is our DRY RUN or TEST RUN you might say..Sandy

It is so funny that our desserts are 'hands down' the same!!! What a hoot.
I did make my header. I searched for a picture of a chef's hat and then added the title. I have a program that is VERY easy to use. It is made by ArcSoft.
Thanks for coming by. Have a blessed weekend.

My daughter is coming down with the same thing..again! This has been a tough year for nasal and bronchial stuff. I would do Amazing Race also...hands down!! That is about the only reality show I really enjoy! Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. I noticed the books on your sidebar....I'm a bookaholic...so I'll be looking these up ;) Enjoy your weekend!

Susan, I need to make a correction to what I said about my header. I have not lost my mind....the picture is a fork NOT a chef's hat. I was thinking of using the one with the chef's hat and decided on the fork instead so I forgot which one I used.....I blame it on jet lag!!!!

Scarf! WEAR a SCARF! It will nip any sore throat in the bud! Seriously! It's my secret weapon. ONE evening I did NOT have a scarf on...it was chilly & I could just 'feel' it coming....a week later... I am STILL coughing my head off! REALLY!!!!! {& of course I highly recommend a homemade one...the love involved will fend off any mean germs too! } lol ;D

Hope you are feeling better. Seems like I'm behind on responding to all of my friends. Hugs and prayers!
