Random Dozen

1. If you could compete in one Olympic event (not necessarily winter sports) what would it be? Hmmm...probably ice skating...although it makes me laugh to write that! And I KNOW it'll make my friends and family laugh too. It's OK, I can take it!
2. Do remember a specific Olympic moment from the past? It's probably not fair that I read several responses today. I have to say I remember Mary Lou Retton's perfect vault with Bella Karoli (sp?) looking on. Eric Jansen's speed skating tries and wins. I also distinctly remember Dorothy Hamill's "Hamill Camel" and everyone getting their hair cut like hers. OK so I don't do "a specific"...:-)
3. Have you ever known anyone who competed in the Olympics? Nope.
4. If everyday activities were Olympic-worthy, which activity would you have a gold medal in? Hmmmm....computer use/creation of documents and forms.
5. Do you know anything about your ethnic heritage? My family has Irish background and on my Mom's side is Pennsylvania Dutch.
6. Do you enjoy sleeping late? YEP!! I don't get to do it enough...but I enjoy it when it happens.
7. Have you ever performed CPR on anyone? Do you know how? (Yes, that's two, I know. Whatevs.) No I haven't. Yes I do.
8. Name one country you'd like to visit and explain why. I have always wanted to visit Italy. I just love the pictures I see and movies like "Under the Tuscan Sun" just move me!
9. Have you ever fixed up a couple romantically? Hmmm...don't think so.
10. What is the last book you read? The last book I read is the fourth book in a Christian Scrapbooking series of fiction by Rebecca Seitz, "Perfect Piece". I am now reading a Nicholas Sparks' novel.
11. Do you enjoy sleeping late? NO, YOU write the question! How's that for random?? Do you ever feel guilty being so late with your Random Dozen? Yes I do...but I am trying to get over it!
12. What is your favorite meal at your favorite restaurant? Hmmm...I LOVE the steak at Outback. I love the mushroom pasta at our local Italian restaurant. I don't really have a favorite restaurant.

Loved your answers. #11 made me laugh.

And on #2, you combined 2 Olympians. Dan Jansen was the
'3rd times the charm" and Eric Heiden is the won-lots-of-medals athlete!
