Note to Self: If you get stopped by every red light on your way somewhere, and find yourself highly annoyed, perhaps it's a sign that you need to settle down a bit!!
This is an important thing. I once prayed for patience and now I seem to have a knack for hitting most red lights, not matter time of day, traffic conditions, or current speed.
I also have a knack for ending up behind various farm machines, wide loads, or extra cautious drivers.
God might be telling you to settle down, but it could just be that you need to learn more patience.
Patience is like a muscle... it gets stronger the more you exercise it. Even when it is not intentional. ;-)
I try to tell myself that if I catch all red lights, then there's a PURPOSE for me to be slowing down, perhaps avoiding a horrible accident or something.

I love it the way God sometimes chooses to "talk" to us!!!
Susan
I LOVE this! :D
It is much easier than the 2X4 that it has taken in the past to get my attention!
Hi Susan, thanks for sharing this insight with me.. I need to work on Patience for myself..
Have a good day, hugs, Baba

OR...maybe God knows that there is something up ahead that might hurt us and we need to listen and take our time and NOT complain..understand...
Well said - I pray for those stop lights - it gives me a chance to catch up on my reading (giggle).
This made me laugh. A sign from God...a STOP sign.
