Monday Meandering....

These are just some RANDOM Monday thoughts and questions in my brain:

• A couple of years ago, I was able to post a Thursday Thirteen or something like it with the smiley face you get on Word when you do this: :-) and I also had hearts in that post...I HAVE NO IDEA HOW I did that. Can somebody help me here?

• I tried to add Blogger for Word and it won't work...

• I also want to know how to do "strike-through" font...you know when something looks crossed out.

• Yesterday I hit return between each of my seven points and they kept going single spaced when I published...it made me CRAZY!

• Susie has me waiting in great suspense to preview my new blog design. I can't wait to see it and share it with you.

• The weekend made me TIRED and a bit CRANKY. I'm so tired right now, I just want to slip into a corner somewhere and SLEEP!

• Because I was tired, I didn't even get to see WHO Trump fired last night!

• DH left today for a week out...maybe that's another reason I'm a bit CRANKY...I miss him so when he's gone.

• For those of you praying for Heather...pray for increased White Blood Cells...they are steadily moving up which is good...but she will be in the hospital for another three to four days.

• DH had a church he works with send a prayer shawl for my colleague, C, who is fighting cancer. C is kind of a "New Age" person. She really is very eclectic in her faith and doesn't espouse Christianity at all. I am sending her the prayer shawl in hopes that she is blessed by the Christian community that she doesn't even know reaching out to her. Will you pray that she receives it as a blessing and that it helps her see God's love in a new way?

• I forgot my watch today. I HATE being without a watch...it makes me feel....naked! I keep looking at my empty wrist. UGH!

• I hope you all have a marvelous Monday....I promise I'll be less tired and cranky later on. I'm hoping that some of you more experienced "htmlers" and bloggers can answer some of my blogging questions at the top of this post...

HUGS!!

:-) Susan

I wish I had answers to your questions, but the truth is... I have the same ones! :)

I will check back to see if you learn anything new... and then maybe I can learn too. :)

God bless.

Strike through
< del >PUT TEXT HERE< /del >

I hope this shows up right, if not, I'll leave another comment. I learned it by doing an internet search. Don't include the spaces, I just did that so it wouldn't register as a code

Boy I would like to know a lot of those answers too. I know how to make the strike through but blogger will not let me use the tags here so I will have to email you.
I also will check back to see if you get any answers. I need to know some of those answers too..Sandy

You can also strikeout using < s >text here< /s >.

You can put < p > to add a space in your text.

(I had to put spaces inside the bracket things to leave it in the comments. Leave the spaces out when you put it into your HTML.)

And...I am waiting on pins and needles for my design from Susie as well. Maybe we'll both have a new look soon!

Hope the crankies go away soon! :o) Ya know, I get that single space thing all the time. It drives me nuts! Have a good afternoon!

As for the Donald...If you want me tell you, I will...but if are going to watch it online or something, I won't spoil it for you.

As for the single spacing thing, sometimes blogspot does strange things. You may have to edit the html. Simply click on the edit html tab when you are in edit mode. Then put < BR > where ever you want a line break. put it all together the "<" and the ">" without spaces. I can't do it here as the comment thingy thinks I'm trying to enter HTML in the post.

I was without a watch for many months. Only the time on my cell phone saved me :-(

That's all the encouragement I have for you today. Hang in there!

Well...I'm still tired too. Thought it was just "my" age! Still wouldn't have missed it for the world. Isn't that a song?!
Hope you're "crankiness" is gone by now....LY...C
