CBS Called and My Boys Need YOUR VOTES!

Thank you ALL for your votes and support. The video was #4! This means that they did not make the cut for the top three. We are so touched by so much support. And I'm sure they'll be on another venture in no time. :-) Susan


OK everyone...here's the scoop....

CBS called my boys yesterday and told them that they want to fly the person from the top 3 videos out to LA to shoot a promo video!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you might expect, they are over the moon with excitement at the prospect....BUT.....

While that may make you think that they are IN, nothing's sure until 3pm EST TODAY (Friday, Feb. 6th). The only thing we know for SURE is that they are in the top 5 right now.

WILL you PLEASE vote TODAY?? Will you consider linking back to this post and ask your friends to vote? Can you email a few people and ask them to VOTE too???? We need a REAL PUSH here. We appreciate anything you can do to help and everything you've done this far!

Hopefully we'll have GREAT news to share later today when we find out the top 3.

My boys are at it again. This time the video contest they entered is sponsored by CBS. The winning video had to lip synch to this song (that I don't like) and submit a one minute video. The winner will be shown on the Grammy's and gets $5,000. They worked really hard on it and need your help cause voting is 33% of the score. There will be four separate voting windows and the first one is open now. (Read: I'll be asking you to vote three more times after this!)

It's going to travel...

OK, everyone who commented on my last post....here's what I'm going to do....

I want each of you to read this book. SO I'm going to send it along to Susan, with five stamped and addressed envelopes. Susan, when you read it, will you send it to someone else from the envelope? Then the next person can send it to someone else...and so on and so on until the book has been passed around. The last person can pass it along to whoever you'd like.

I hope that sounds OK. I'll need each of you to send me your address....so I can make your envelope tomorrow.

Now that I have MY laptop...

I still can't sit up for long, but I can LAY down and type with my laptop. Plus that, I'm just not tired anymore...I mean sheez! I slept 13 hours last night...and another three or four today already. But that's NOT what I wanted to talk about here.

I wanted to share my DS 3's haircut, which is just below this post. For those of you who are wondering WHY he did it. Here's the scoop. He lost a bet at the Homecoming football game last week. It had to do with the point spread of the game...and he "lost".

Saturday was a GREAT time at the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. I am SO TOUCHED by all the gifts from my family and friends. It was a blessing to be able to take part in this event...and we had a BLAST! Here are two photos (one before we walked with "dry hair" and one at the finish line sporting the "wet look").

In other news, there are several little contests and giveaways that I've discovered by surfing in the past week or so.
